Our Company and Our Mission :
AEI Corporation was established in 1966 in Santa Ana, California
by Mr. Phillip E. Arnold and his wife Libby. The original product
lines sold by AEI Corporation was the original gas grill…… the
Charmglow Gas Grill and Charmglow Gas Lighting. The other complimentary
product line was the original outdoor comfort heaters Sunglo
and Sunpak from Infrared Dynamics also based in Santa Ana, CA.
Today, AEI Corporation’s corporate headquarters and full-service
distribution facility is located in Irvine, California and is
in its second generation of operation.
We will be celebrating our 40 th Anniversary in 2006.
Today AEI Corporation is in it’s second generation of
independent ownership operating in Orange County, California
and is owned and operated by Phil Arnold’s son Pete Arnold
and business partners George and Fred Speicher.
Phil Arnold’s original charter and goal in establishing
the business in 1966 was to provide the finest in innovative
outdoor cooking and heating products to demanding consumer and
commercial customers.
AEI Corporation serves a wide variety of end-users and commercial
accounts. AEI markets its products through a broad network of
independent specialty dealers, contractors, commercial accounts,
wholesale accounts, builders, natural gas utility accounts, and
other businesses. These AEI customers also want to provide only
the finest products backed with full service, replacement parts,
and unmatched technical support.
AEI Corporation sells wholesale to the trade only and does
not sell products retail.
Many of the retail and wholesale customers established back
in the sixties that helped AEI pioneer the outdoor cooking and
heating industries are still active AEI dealers and customers
today.
AEI Corporation still specializes in innovative and premium
quality outdoor cooking and patio heating products. AEI Corporation
serves demanding retail and commercial customers in California,
Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, and New Mexico.
AEI Corporation also ships some products nationwide and exports
outdoor cooking and outdoor comfort heating products to Mexico
and European customers.
AEI Corporation carries one of the nation’s largest selections
of outdoor propane, natural gas, and electric cooking products,
grill parts and accessories, and outdoor natural gas, propane,
and electric heaters and lighting.
Our in depth finished goods and parts inventory can satisfy
virtually any residential or commercial application for premium
quality outdoor grills, gas lighting, or patio heaters.
